What you are looking at is a very RARE find especially in this condition. This is a Jewelry/Trinket box that is Brass with a black top and a Cameo on the top. This box folds out to two layers for storage that the boxes are velour lined and used to have a mirror glued in the top layer. This box does not have a makers mark on it. It is held up by ball like feet and has working hinges on each side. This trinket box could use a good polishing to it, but I did not want to take away from the apparent age of it. This box measures 4 inches by 2 1/2 inches. This is a great find with many more years of use left to it.
